Dr. Seuss Illustration Attractiveness
When I read the book, I found the illustration absolutely attractive. There are bright colors, imaginary
and fun creatures, as well as their easy–to–read expressions for kids. On the other hand, the words
used in the book were informative enough to include a lot of educational concepts like colors,
shapes, sizes, numbers, opposite–adjectives and hilarious enough with its rhyming text. It tells about
various kinds of fish and other interesting pets with their own uniqueness, the things they like/dislike
to do and the problems that bothering them. Kids could travel together with this boy and girl to get
to know these enchanted creatures. As for the answers to some questions, Dr. Seuss left it for the
kids to ask from their parents. For the beginning

Background Of Fashion Illustration
When I was young, I thought fashion illustration was drawn by illustrator's imagination. However,
after taking the history of fashion illustration, I realized that my thoughts were completely wrong.
The illustrations of various eras reflect the society, the economy, and also technological development.
Diverse fashion changes have been detected by fashion illustrators. As long as fashion exist, there
exist fashion illustrators. Cultural changes and technological developments have an impact on the
way artists illustrate. The late 1800s and early 1900s were the periods of industrial revolution and the
Victorian era. The industrial revolution marked a shift in textile manufacture, sewing machine, and
aniline dyes. These inventions were utilized to add embellishments to ladies' apparel; machine–made
trimmings were applied in bulk to the enormous. In particular, ready–to–wear clothes were produced
for the first time in the early 1900s because of the mechanized production of textiles and the
invention of sewing machines. Machines produced faster than hand making, making various and
colorful patterns of textile selling them at affordable prices for many different people. As fashion
industries continue to develop, the purpose of clothing has been divided into house dress, tennis
apparels, swimsuits, and beach wears. The beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria, who was the
queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, was a golden era of fashion. The Queen affected all of

Comparing Forms of Illustration
There are several areas we can explore in regards to specialization in illustration. These areas include
fashion, advertising, technical, editorial, and medical forms.
Although each of these forms has their own unique characteristics and attributes, the two forms that I
am most interested in are advertising and editorial. For some time in my life I used to believe that
these two forms of illustration generally meant the same thing. I was wrong because there are many
dissimilar characteristics between the two. One of the main differences between advertising and
editorial illustration is that advertising illustration uses all kinds of visual images and has a vast
array of mediums available for usage. This includes photographs and sometimes including
illustrations in the design in order to show something that the photograph cannot. According toThe
Art
Institute, "They can emphasize, idealize, and show things that do not exist in reality. In some cases,
an illustration may grab a viewer's attention because they know that the picture is not a photograph
and they admire how well it is drawn" (The Art Institute). In my opinion, the possibilities and
creativity is endless in advertising illustration because there are fewer limitations in contrast to
editorial advertising. Editorial illustration is a form of illustration that primarily uses newspapers and
magazines to cling to. These illustrations are used frequently to convey a message or opinion about
the topic

Illustration In Maus By Art Spiegelman
Illustration is by far one of the best methods of expressing a story or an idea to a large–scale
audience. In literature, writer uses various amounts of illustration to appeal to their audience's
interests and point of view.
But with Graphic Novels, readers see things the way the writer/illustrator sees them. Drawings,
cartoons, and photographs can give readers the exact imaging the author wants to share with his
readers.
When people think of graphic novels, most likely you would think of children's books or
Superhero comics. Now this may be true; but the use of graphic novels hold a lot of benefits for
adults as well. They're the perfect way to share a message without any miscommunication. And let's
face it, almost every adult out has a favorite genre that can be shared in a graphic novel. I for one love
comics with Anti–heroes and Sci–fi/Fantasies. One famous graphic novel that shows the power of
illustration is Maus by Art Spiegelman, which illustrates the darkest points of the Holocaust with a
perspective of mice (Jews) being suppressed by cats (Nazis)....show more content...
I myself enjoy writing and creating characters, but one of the greatest challenges is making
molding their image with words. Even if I have a perfect visual of my character in mind and very
descriptive choice of words, my readers will never see my character the same way I do. I might
be able to attempt adding enough description in my text too help the readers see them, but that
would take pages and nobody can keep an interest in a story if it takes a whole chapter to describe
a character or a scene. But, if I use graphic illustration instead, I can share my characters along with
the setting of the story and every crucial detail within a portion of a page. Like they say, a picture is

Illustration As An Illustration
1.What is illustration?
It's very difficult to give a precise definition to the term " illustration " . Some people think of the
illustrated manuals from Ikea , while someone else thinks about the illustrated children's book by
Chris Haughton.
Illustration is a unique art form that is not defined by the media , but by its context. Illustrations
bring life into concepts and stories.
Whether they are created digitally or manually , illustrations can be both a masterful work of art as a
practical, business apply.
2.Where do Illustrators work?
Images and illustrations are all around us. The most obvious images are book covers , t–shirts , and

This type of illustrator creates illustrations for magazines and newspapers.
These illustrations are often briefed by an art director . Usually these contracts have also a very short
deadline, maybe even several days because magazines and newspapers often appear weekly or
monthly. The size can vary from a few small doodles to a greatillustration spread across a double
page .
2.Publishing
Book publishing – in any form or medium whatsoever – is a major source of income for illustrators.
The main categories are : fiction, non –fiction, educational children's books , comic books and
graphic novels and finally youth literature. For these types of assignments illustrators usually get a
longer period to come to a final product.
3.Design & Advertising
Images for design & advertising are usually commissioned through an agency on behalf of an end
client.
Corporate clients may require images for a whole range of contexts that need to perform varied
functions across print and digital platforms. This can include logo's, website's, brochures,
newsletters, direct mail to potential customers, annuel reports and in –house promotional material
such as cards, posters and

Children literature Interests and intrigues many critics and adults in various ways, one of the topics
that contrast critics ideology is whether illustration is literature on its own or not? Illustrated books
were not appreciated throughout centuries it became widely accepted with quality and design were it
improved in a unique artistic way. There are three types of books, illustrated book which are pictures
that intensify the book artistically without including anything significant to the real story, secondly
picture books; they include the same information where the words and images complement each
other. Lastly Picturebook as in one word, refer to books with image and words that are

The positive critics perceive that children are sensitive to the visual image; they need to develop a
critical eye to visualize images, so they are able to evaluate the effective communication and
recognizing effective illustration. Moreover, during the centuries quality of illustrated book began to
change, in the past traditional books were used, they were easy to be understood. It did not challenge
a child's mind. As for now, creativity merged throughout the years. As, things like postmodern
picture book came about with features such as; Non linear ,intersexuality, word play, parody,
transgression and destabilization, these features help a child to brighten his/her imagination. Critics
such as William Moebius says 'images cannot–and must not be –looked at in isolation from
surrounding text; images in children books always have context ,and a context ,and a sequence, and
meaning is derived at least in part from their positioning in the text overall and their interaction with
the word'' (William Moebius). William is emphasizing here that images for picture books have a
context, sequence and meaning and words need pictures to support and entertain a child's mind. As,
thrilling imagination tend to drift off with happy, funny and exciting moment keeping their sprit
high. By, having an illustrated book it is intended to capture a child's

John Cole's Illustration Essay
Although civilians of the Western developed countries are fixated on the profit of entertainment
media, John Cole's illustration creates an understanding of the lack of attention towards starvation,
dehumanization, and poverty in under–developed peoples. At first glance, there are very many
noticeable points in Cole's drawing. For example, the man featured in the illustration is holding a
newspaper with the main headline saying "'HUNGER GAMES' GROSSES $155M OPENING."
The subheadings read "Inside: War,poverty, and genocide." The way the headline and subheadings
are organized allows us to draw parallels to real world issues. The newspaper in the comic supports
the idea that the citizens of the Western nations are mainly focused on entertainment and the media

There is a speech bubble coming from the man saying "It's a game?" referring to hunger and the
'Hunger Games' headline. We as a developed country feel entertained at the 'Hunger Games' when
less fortunate people like the refugee in the drawing actually face these issues in reality. The man in
the comic can also be compared to a skeleton or dead body. He possesses a cadaver–like skull and
extremely bony limbs. He appears extremely malnourished and you can make the inference that his
clothing is loose because of the weight he lost from not consuming the nutrients needed to be
healthy. We can infer that this man is living in a refugee camp because of the sign in the
background and also because of the tent in the image. He may not be receiving the food he needs
because we have an understanding of how poor the living conditions can be in these refugee camps.

attention. Walking on a familiar path to home, I see posters are secretly glued on coner of wall,

My major is animation, so my first though on illustration is that: posters are still frame picture with
better detail crafted. Most illustration art and design on these posters are high quliaty in my point

How To Write An Illustration Essay
Illustration Essay Grandparents relate more closely to grandchildren than to their own children in
many ways. Grandparents and their children can be stubborn and not want to deal with each other
anymore because of problems from the past. After so long grandparents give up on their children
and deal with them from a distance. Grandparents are more willing to relate to their grandchildren
more than their children because it is another chance of getting to know their children through their
grandchildren. Growing up as a child in a dysfunctional home causes children to abhor their parents
and have a difficult time trusting them. Both parents not staying together in one house cause
abhorrence against the parents. Going home every day to drunk men and loud music, going to bed
hearing loud arguments causes children to become afraid. After growing up and understanding
everything that has happened as a kid growing up, gives children a different outlook on life. After
years of being in a home where there is no balance causes children to dislike their parents because of
the hurt and lies they have been through. When children get into their adulthood, most of them

The Importance of Illustration and Color in Margaret Wise Brown's Children's Books
Margaret Wise Brown's The Runaway Bunny is probably one of the most popular children's books
of the last two generations. Readers love the gentle magic of the words, and loving pictures. The
illustrations of Brown's children's books fulfill the concerns and emotions of the child reader.
Clement Hurd was the illustrator of The Runaway Bunny, Goodnight Moon, and many of his own
books. The Dream Book is another children's book written by Brown and illustrated by Richard
Floethe. Floethe has a very different style of illustration than Hurd. Floethe has illustrated many of
Brown's books and has won many awards. Although done by different illustrators they...show more

There are also a lot of cool colors in this book such as blue and green which help to create more of a
dream like vision.
Clement Hurd's style of illustrations looks like they were painted and also have very warm colors
such as yellow and orange. The bright colors and activity of the pictures look like images that you
may see in a Saturday morning cartoon. There is an illustration in this book which has the mother
carrying a basket and a gardening tool. She is wearing bright blue overalls with a bright red hat.
The flowers are bright yellow, red, pink, and white. These bright colors are present throughout the
book. This story is about an adventure that the little bunny takes showing pictures of him on a
stormy sea and in a circus show.
By looking at the pictures in each of these books it is easy to see that the authors adapt the colors
to help convey the storyline. In The Runaway Bunny the colors are very lively and rich in their
tones. These types of colors help with the adventurous and exciting storyline. There are not many
dark colors in this story which I also think is saying that this is not supposed to be a scary
adventure story. In The Dream Book, the colors are very dark and bold. There are many dark
night skies and I think that this helps to convey a story of dreams and bedtime. Children hear this
story and feel relaxed and ready to close their eyes after a long day of fun.

The Artist And The Art Essay
The Artist and the Art
The history of art dates back to ancient times. Artwork can be, and was, found around the world.
What makes art interesting is that it can be created in any way, shape or form with any materials.
It seems that the artwork can also tell us a lot about the artist. Art seems to be simply, a direct,
visual reflection of the artist's life. Therefore, one can assume that an artist's life experiences and
beliefs directly influence their art. If we look at examples from different periods of art we will be
able to see the connection between the artist and the art.
One of the earliest examples of beliefs and tradition affecting art can be seen in Ancient art. The
ancient Egyptians had a strong...show more content...
This could be true, but it just shows how life experiences also directly influence the outcome of a
piece. If we look at periods closer to the present we can also see other strong examples of the
relevance between art and the artist.
Impressionism began during the 19th century. An example of an artist's beliefs influencing his art
can be seen in the works of Pierre Auguste Renoir. It is documented that he felt that art should be
different from the real world, which can be cold and harsh. He said, "Why shouldn't art be pretty?"
and "There are enough unpleasant things in the world." An example of his attitude towards art can
be seen in 'A Girl with a Watering Can' from 1876. This picture can easily be interpreted as being
beautiful and therefore it proves that his belief of art is true. 'Dance at Bougival' from 1883, is yet
another example of the artist and the inspiration for the art. By painting an attractive scene with two
people dancing accompanied by laughing faces in the background we see a correlation between his
quotes above and this piece. Therefore, one can conclude that Renoir painted mostly beautiful and
attractive art.
Unfortunately, for some artists, the reality of life isn't so beautiful. One of the most talented, yet
mentally ill artists of all time was Vincent Van Gogh. He was also from the 19th century belonging to
the post–impressionists. In order for one to analyze the art of

Fashion Illustration Essay
Illustration is an art that allows to create an amazing aesthetics that is hard to remake or achieve
with the same aesthetic value using digital technologies or photography because of the emotional
atmosphere, transfer of mood of the work of art and detailed visualization of images. The term
"illustration" itself has a several meanings, but the most known is 'art design'. In the past, illustration
due to its characteristics been only associated with books and magazines as a support for a text.
However, as the time passed illustration became an individual type of art that no longer need to play
a supporting role for anything. This evolution leads illustration forward to the division of a broader
term into narrower subtopics, which introduced the creation of fashion illustration. From that point, it
was clear that fashion illustration is one of the oldest and most important movements in the history
of illustration. Through the time, it has always had a touch with graphic design and fine arts, it has
an undeniable influence on fashion and vice versa. Right now, it is possible to recognize another
story of fashion by them because they reflect an individual and not a group view on it, unlike in
photography. Throughout history, the artists through their works have tried to push the boundaries
of our perception, inviting to the world of their dreams and fantasies. However, before fashion

Essay On Why I Love Art
Although I have been drawing for a majority of my life, it wasn't until recently when I realized just
how much I love art. Art was my method of self–expression and creativity, creating a doorway for
my imagination to explain its intricacies. I love art because of its ability to express emotions,
moods, and stories.
Stories are a large aspect of the artist in me. As someone with an extremely vivid imagination, stories
are my way of expressing thoughts, coping with problems, and bringing a bit of adventure into a
routine life. I can create the personalities, strengths, flaws, and motives of many diverse characters
that change the corrupt fantastical world they live in. Through art, I draw out these characters'

I used pencil in order to create a high contrast with the shadows and highlights and I used colored
pencils and pen to create both subtle colors and a surreal effect. I am also influenced greatly by
the stories I watch. My mandala art piece is filled with themes from the show RWBY, which is
about a young girl and her team of friends battling monsters and corruption in a dangerous, but
unique world. RWBY inspired me to take a more fantastical approach to my story, building a
world with its own laws, countries, and history. I made this piece into a mandala in order to
expand into different art styles. With the radial design I created a type of abstract symbolism,
something I rarely have done in my art before. Some of my art pieces aren't inspired by stories,
however. In my observation piece, I drew a flower that has been in my house ever since I could
remember. This flower represents home for me, always giving off a familiar vibe and a nostalgic
feeling of comfort, security, and safeness. I used colored pencils in order to learn realism through
color because before this piece I had only ever drawn grayscale art pieces. Finally, my second student
choice art piece, which follows the

Descriptive Essay On Sculptures
As the sun started to settling down, you walked into a wonderful museum full of figure sculptures to
which the natural spot light shines from the sun hit the wonderful master pieces. Then you walk
more deeply inside an exhibition room, suddenly, you notice that you are surrendered by medium
size to large sculptures. One sculpture that is space equally to one an another, but they all have no

what is the sculpture tell you like a story telling. Even the details of the bodies tend to give of a

of nude figure sculptures. In the center were the four main sculptures which is in order from
finest pick from the museum and three from the class room lecture. They are The Lansdown
Athlete, the Roman copy of the Lysippos, and Roman copy after a Greek original by Praxiteles,
Hermes and the Infant Dionysos. From my opinion is that the sculptures are in nude because they
tell us that the sculptures are goddesses or a recreation of a person that is not real. The nude
sculpture is one who is not wearing cloth or less who which it shows our body parts. Most of the
sculptures are made out of stone, marble, and bronze. They are shown in large structure or a human
size. All figures are mostly made in Greek Late Classical to Hellenistic, thus the artist show more

Power: An Illustration Of Power By Edkins
In many examples Edkins describes power as quantitative substance, in an attempt to better explain
it to others. Her illustration of power is simple; we see examples of people having this "gift" of
influencing others, or the resources to turn the outcome in their favor, or someone that just knows
how to get things done. It is clear that she is shaping us to see that power as this quantitative
substance that certain people just have for variety of reasons. She then flips the outlook, stating that
power cannot be counted because it is difficult to know who has the most power. I believe that she

Essay about Digital Art Technology
Digital Art Technology
Technology is constantly growing and changing our ways of living. It makes life easier at times,
and more interesting too. When one would think of art in the past, usually computers and
technology did not come to mind. Now because of modern technology, the digital age is uncovering
vast ways to create amazing works of art through computer tools and software. Art is now digitally
created and can appear unbelievable to the modern eye.
Digital art technology is in some ways, a form of art that can be constructed on a computer based
template and still portray an artistГ•s rendition but in a mechanical manner. Г’As early as 1912, the
futurists planned moving sculptures driven by machine, in which the...show more content...

Г’Today, computers are found in almost every area of art, though with varying degrees of
success, acceptance, and originality.Г“ (57, Wolf) Classical art is obviously the most widespread
acceptable form of art. Acceptable meaning known; People around the world could tell you
theyГ•ve heard of Michelangelo or Picasso. Classical art and digital art have certain similarities,
but far more differences. Both forms of art begin with the artistГ•s view of an idea or concept.
They both have creative attributes and qualities that are controlled by the artist and viewed by an
audience. Evidently, there is different media used in each form. Where classical artist may use a
paintbrush and a canvas to create a painting, a digital artist would use software like Photoshop
though a computer to create an image. However now, artists can even imitate media like watercolor,
charcoal, markers, and even oil pastels with certain software digitally.
There are two kinds of computer based art that uses the computer as a tool for creating the work.
The two kinds are computer–assisted art and computer–created art. Г’In computer–assisted art, an
application like a paintbox or music program is used in creation of a work. Computer–created art
begins with an algorithm written by the artist, which when run, produces a work, usually with some
element of randomness involved so that

Illustration Paragraph
So, let 's suppose that you have done some brainstorming to develop your thesis. What else should
you keep in mind as you begin to create paragraphs? Every paragraph in a paper should be
Unified–All of the sentences in a single paragraph should be related to a single controlling idea
(often expressed in the topic sentence of the paragraph).
Clearly related to the thesis–The sentences should all refer to the central idea, or thesis, of the paper
(Rosen and Behrens 119).
Coherent–The sentences should be arranged in a logical manner and should follow a definite plan
for development (Rosen and Behrens 119).
Well–developed–Every idea discussed in the paragraph should be adequately explained and
supported through evidence and details...show more content...
Step 4. Explain the example(s)
The next movement in paragraph development is an explanation of each example and its relevance
to the topic sentence and rationale that were stated at the beginning of the paragraph. This
explanation shows readers why you chose to use this/or these particular examples as evidence to
support the major claim, or focus, in your paragraph.
Continue the pattern of giving examples and explaining them until all points/examples that the
writer deems necessary have been made and explained. NONE of your examples should be left
unexplained. You might be able to explain the relationship between the example and the topic
sentence in the same sentence which introduced the example. More often, however, you will need to
explain that relationship in a separate sentence. Look at these explanations for the two examples in
the slave spirituals paragraph:
Model explanation for example A– When slaves sang this song, they could have been speaking of
their departure from this life and their arrival in heaven; however, they also could have been
describing their plans to leave the South and run, not to Jesus, but to the North.
Model explanation for example B–[The relationship between example B and the main idea of the
paragraph 's controlling idea is clear enough without adding another sentence to

Examples Of Illustration Essay

  • 1. Dr. Seuss Illustration Attractiveness When I read the book, I found the illustration absolutely attractive. There are bright colors, imaginary and fun creatures, as well as their easy–to–read expressions for kids. On the other hand, the words used in the book were informative enough to include a lot of educational concepts like colors, shapes, sizes, numbers, opposite–adjectives and hilarious enough with its rhyming text. It tells about various kinds of fish and other interesting pets with their own uniqueness, the things they like/dislike to do and the problems that bothering them. Kids could travel together with this boy and girl to get to know these enchanted creatures. As for the answers to some questions, Dr. Seuss left it for the kids to ask from their parents. • 2. Background Of Fashion Illustration When I was young, I thought fashion illustration was drawn by illustrator's imagination. However, after taking the history of fashion illustration, I realized that my thoughts were completely wrong. The illustrations of various eras reflect the society, the economy, and also technological development. Diverse fashion changes have been detected by fashion illustrators. As long as fashion exist, there exist fashion illustrators. Cultural changes and technological developments have an impact on the way artists illustrate. The late 1800s and early 1900s were the periods of industrial revolution and the Victorian era. The industrial revolution marked a shift in textile manufacture, sewing machine, and aniline dyes. These inventions were utilized to add embellishments to ladies' apparel; machine–made trimmings were applied in bulk to the enormous. In particular, ready–to–wear clothes were produced for the first time in the early 1900s because of the mechanized production of textiles and the invention of sewing machines. Machines produced faster than hand making, making various and colorful patterns of textile selling them at affordable prices for many different people. As fashion industries continue to develop, the purpose of clothing has been divided into house dress, tennis apparels, swimsuits, and beach wears. The beginning of the reign of Queen Victoria, who was the queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain, was a golden era of fashion. The Queen affected all of Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Comparing Forms of Illustration There are several areas we can explore in regards to specialization in illustration. These areas include fashion, advertising, technical, editorial, and medical forms. Although each of these forms has their own unique characteristics and attributes, the two forms that I am most interested in are advertising and editorial. For some time in my life I used to believe that these two forms of illustration generally meant the same thing. I was wrong because there are many dissimilar characteristics between the two. One of the main differences between advertising and editorial illustration is that advertising illustration uses all kinds of visual images and has a vast array of mediums available for usage. This includes photographs and sometimes including illustrations in the design in order to show something that the photograph cannot. According toThe Art Institute, "They can emphasize, idealize, and show things that do not exist in reality. In some cases, an illustration may grab a viewer's attention because they know that the picture is not a photograph and they admire how well it is drawn" (The Art Institute). In my opinion, the possibilities and creativity is endless in advertising illustration because there are fewer limitations in contrast to editorial advertising. Editorial illustration is a form of illustration that primarily uses newspapers and magazines to cling to. These illustrations are used frequently to convey a message or opinion about the topic Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Illustration In Maus By Art Spiegelman Illustration is by far one of the best methods of expressing a story or an idea to a large–scale audience. In literature, writer uses various amounts of illustration to appeal to their audience's interests and point of view. But with Graphic Novels, readers see things the way the writer/illustrator sees them. Drawings, cartoons, and photographs can give readers the exact imaging the author wants to share with his readers. When people think of graphic novels, most likely you would think of children's books or Superhero comics. Now this may be true; but the use of graphic novels hold a lot of benefits for adults as well. They're the perfect way to share a message without any miscommunication. And let's face it, almost every adult out has a favorite genre that can be shared in a graphic novel. I for one love comics with Anti–heroes and Sci–fi/Fantasies. One famous graphic novel that shows the power of illustration is Maus by Art Spiegelman, which illustrates the darkest points of the Holocaust with a perspective of mice (Jews) being suppressed by cats (Nazis)....show more content... I myself enjoy writing and creating characters, but one of the greatest challenges is making molding their image with words. Even if I have a perfect visual of my character in mind and very descriptive choice of words, my readers will never see my character the same way I do. I might be able to attempt adding enough description in my text too help the readers see them, but that would take pages and nobody can keep an interest in a story if it takes a whole chapter to describe a character or a scene. But, if I use graphic illustration instead, I can share my characters along with the setting of the story and every crucial detail within a portion of a page. John Cole's Illustration Essay Although civilians of the Western developed countries are fixated on the profit of entertainment media, John Cole's illustration creates an understanding of the lack of attention towards starvation, dehumanization, and poverty in under–developed peoples. At first glance, there are very many noticeable points in Cole's drawing. For example, the man featured in the illustration is holding a newspaper with the main headline saying "'HUNGER GAMES' GROSSES $155M OPENING." The subheadings read "Inside: War,poverty, and genocide." The way the headline and subheadings are organized allows us to draw parallels to real world issues. The man in the comic can also be compared to a skeleton or dead body. He possesses a cadaver–like skull and extremely bony limbs. He appears extremely malnourished and you can make the inference that his clothing is loose because of the weight he lost from not consuming the nutrients needed to be healthy. We can infer that this man is living in a refugee camp because of the sign in the background and also because of the tent in the image. He may not be receiving the food he needs because we have an understanding of how poor the living conditions can be in these refugee camps. Grandparents and their children can be stubborn and not want to deal with each other anymore because of problems from the past. Grandparents are more willing to relate to their grandchildren more than their children because it is another chance of getting to know their children through their grandchildren. Growing up as a child in a dysfunctional home causes children to abhor their parents and have a difficult time trusting them. Both parents not staying together in one house cause abhorrence against the parents. Clement Hurd was the illustrator of The Runaway Bunny, Goodnight Moon, and many of his own books. The Dream Book is another children's book written by Brown and illustrated by Richard Floethe. Clement Hurd's style of illustrations looks like they were painted and also have very warm colors such as yellow and orange. The bright colors and activity of the pictures look like images that you may see in a Saturday morning cartoon. There is an illustration in this book which has the mother carrying a basket and a gardening tool. She is wearing bright blue overalls with a bright red hat. The flowers are bright yellow, red, pink, and white. These bright colors are present throughout the book. This story is about an adventure that the little bunny takes showing pictures of him on a stormy sea and in a circus show. By looking at the pictures in each of these books it is easy to see that the authors adapt the colors to help convey the storyline. In The Runaway Bunny the colors are very lively and rich in their tones. These types of colors help with the adventurous and exciting storyline. There are not many dark colors in this story which I also think is saying that this is not supposed to be a scary adventure story. In The Dream Book, the colors are very dark and bold. There are many dark night skies and I think that this helps to convey a story of dreams and bedtime. Children hear this story and feel relaxed and ready to close their eyes after a long day of fun. • 11. The Artist And The Art Essay The Artist and the Art The history of art dates back to ancient times. Artwork can be, and was, found around the world. What makes art interesting is that it can be created in any way, shape or form with any materials. It seems that the artwork can also tell us a lot about the artist. Art seems to be simply, a direct, visual reflection of the artist's life. Therefore, one can assume that an artist's life experiences and beliefs directly influence their art. If we look at examples from different periods of art we will be able to see the connection between the artist and the art. One of the earliest examples of beliefs and tradition affecting art can be seen in Ancient art. The ancient Egyptians had a strong...show more content... This could be true, but it just shows how life experiences also directly influence the outcome of a piece. If we look at periods closer to the present we can also see other strong examples of the relevance between art and the artist. Impressionism began during the 19th century. An example of an artist's beliefs influencing his art can be seen in the works of Pierre Auguste Renoir. It is documented that he felt that art should be different from the real world, which can be cold and harsh. He said, "Why shouldn't art be pretty?" and "There are enough unpleasant things in the world." An example of his attitude towards art can be seen in 'A Girl with a Watering Can' from 1876. This picture can easily be interpreted as being beautiful and therefore it proves that his belief of art is true. 'Dance at Bougival' from 1883, is yet another example of the artist and the inspiration for the art. By painting an attractive scene with two people dancing accompanied by laughing faces in the background we see a correlation between his quotes above and this piece. Therefore, one can conclude that Renoir painted mostly beautiful and attractive art. Unfortunately, for some artists, the reality of life isn't so beautiful. One of the most talented, yet mentally ill artists of all time was Vincent Van Gogh. He was also from the 19th century belonging to the post–impressionists. Art was my method of self–expression and creativity, creating a doorway for my imagination to explain its intricacies. I love art because of its ability to express emotions, moods, and stories. Stories are a large aspect of the artist in me. As someone with an extremely vivid imagination, stories are my way of expressing thoughts, coping with problems, and bringing a bit of adventure into a routine life. RWBY inspired me to take a more fantastical approach to my story, building a world with its own laws, countries, and history. I made this piece into a mandala in order to expand into different art styles. With the radial design I created a type of abstract symbolism, something I rarely have done in my art before. Some of my art pieces aren't inspired by stories, however. In my observation piece, I drew a flower that has been in my house ever since I could remember. This flower represents home for me, always giving off a familiar vibe and a nostalgic feeling of comfort, security, and safeness. I used colored pencils in order to learn realism through color because before this piece I had only ever drawn grayscale art pieces. From my opinion is that the sculptures are in nude because they tell us that the sculptures are goddesses or a recreation of a person that is not real. The nude sculpture is one who is not wearing cloth or less who which it shows our body parts. Most of the sculptures are made out of stone, marble, and bronze. Explain the example(s) The next movement in paragraph development is an explanation of each example and its relevance to the topic sentence and rationale that were stated at the beginning of the paragraph. This explanation shows readers why you chose to use this/or these particular examples as evidence to support the major claim, or focus, in your paragraph. Model explanation for example B–[The relationship between example B and the main idea of the paragraph 's controlling idea is clear enough without adding another sentence to Get more content on HelpWriting.net
