Creating Containers in ActivInspire
1. Creating Containers in ActivInspire
Property
1. Make sure you are in Design Mode. Browser
2. Insert the items onto your FlipChart slide that you
want to make into containers.
3. In the Properties Browser, it is helpful to give each
item a unique name.
4. Select the item you want to make a container. In the
Properties Browser, in the Container section, set the
following properties:
Can Contain: Specific Object
Contain Object: Select Your Object
Contain Rule: Completely Contain Object
5. Repeat these steps for each container.
6. Next select all of the items you will be dragging into the container. In this
example, it will be the text describing the pictures. To select multiple objects,
hold the Shift key down and select each object.
7. With all of your text objects selected, in the Properties Browser, under
Container, in the Return if not Contained setting at the bottom, select True.

2. 8. Layers: Make sure all of your text items are arranged
in a layer above the containers. You can do this in the
Object Browser.
9. Reward Sound: If you want to add a reward sound,
set Reward Sound to True. In Reward Sound Location,
click the button and browse to locate a Sound. The
sound has to be in a .wav format for ActivInspire.
10. After arranging your objects and containers the way you want them to
initially appear, save your Flipchart.
11. Insert a Reset Page button, by going to your Actions Browser. Select Drag and
Drop. Drag the Reset Page button to your page. This will allow you to reset
the page after each attempt.
11. Turn off Design Mode. You are ready to use your containers.
