Hello! my name is chayo

1. Hello! My name is Chayo.

2. I am from a beautiful place called Rio Negro, in Colombia. I live near a huge rainforest .

3. I live with my mum and dad, three sisters and four brothers.

4. My dad is a farmer. He grows coffee and many different fruits.

5. My dad also has some animals like chickens, cows and turkeys.

6. I help my mom and dad on the farm. I cut the corn, feed the chickens and help my mom in the kitchen.

7. I help my dad with the coffee preparation.

8. I love going to school. I can take a break from doing jobs at home.

9. At school, I am so lucky. My teacher takes us on a nature walk. We can see beautiful birds like the azulejo.

10. This is a sittura bird. Some people call it a squirrel cuckoo!

11. One time, our class went on a trip to a waterfall. It was so amazing.

12. We even saw this bear. It is called an oso andino. This means ‘ a bear with glasses’

13. My favourite bird is the toucanet. It has a large, colourful beak.
