1. Asking for change beats forcing change
It doesn’t mean you’ll get what you want, but it’s a lot easier and more pleasant for all parties
So, seriously, change - what’s death got to do with it?
2. Change means that things end
If we don’t accept and think about the fact that we will die, we will never fully stop resisting change - it will affect our
decisions and our society. We need to learn to let things and people go.
(The glass is already broken)
Only by acknowledging impermanence can we truly appreciate life

3. Expectations from ourselves and others can make change hard
You have to know yourself and have courage to change
4. Your expectations affect people’s behaviour
Be aware of what you expect of others and yourself

5. Identity is harder to change than behaviour
Be careful what you identify as, and take others identities into account when leading change

The more you practice, the better you get (trust the process!)

7. Knowledge, data, gut feeling can guide you through change
But sometimes they will point in different directions. Be careful which you choose to listen to.
8. Change requires courage
When the fear of failure exceeds the will to succeed, we stagnate
9. You can change
You don’t need improvement, but you can change behaviors and how you see yourself and the world

Be aware of the stories you tell yourself and others about yourself
