2. When do we use it?
 When we talk about things that happend
repeatedly or habitually
Jose gets up at 6 o'clock every morning
He always forgets his keys
 When we talk about people or things in general
Nurses work in hospitals
Soccer is a very popular sport in Mexico

3. When do we use it?
 When we talk about permanent situations
Jose works in a bank
I live in Cancun
 To give instructions
Pour all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix
until smooth

4. When do we use it?
 To indicate general truths, facts and scientific
laws
The Earth is spherical.
My birthday is in May.
 When we talk about travel plans and timetables
The english course starts at 3 PM.

5.  To form the Present Simple Tense we use the
verb's base form (go, work, speak, study).
 In 3rd person singular (he, she, it), the base
form of the verb takes -s/es.
 Auxiliary verbs "be," "do," "have", which can
also be used as main verbs.

6. Affirmative form
 I/you/we/they work , simple form of verbs
 He/she/it work, add s or es to the end
of verb
 go goes have has
 watch watches do does
 play plays are is
 study studies

7. Negative form
 I/you/we/they Do not / don't
 He/she/it Does not / doesn't
 I don't work
 He doesn't work

8. Interrogative form
Do I/you/we/they verb in simple form ?
Does he/she/it verb in simple form ?
 Do you like mexican food ?
Yes, i do. / No, i don't
 Does he like mexican food ?
Yes, he does. / No, he doesn't.

9. Special notes
 If verb ends with ss, sh, ch, x, o add es
kiss kisses, finish finishes, watch watches,
mix mixes, go goes
 If verb ends with consonant + y . change y with
i and add es
