2. Introduction:
In this presentation I will talk about the different technologies I used during my
research, planning and evaluation stages.
It was essential for us to upload our findings onto blogger as we needed to
showcase all of research, planning, production and post production.
3. Research
One example of a research media technology which I used was
‘Slideshare’. This is a written base technology which I used to
showcase my findings on Laura Mulvey’s theory. I find slideshare
easy to use because, everything is written on PowerPoint and you
just upload the presentation onto slideshare, which then allows
me to embed it onto my blog.
I also used Blogger in my research stage as I found it really easy to
use, it is also a written base technology. Blogger is a quick and
easy input of text, image and videos which is why I enjoy using it a
lot.
And my third example of research technology are VLOGS! Vlogs
are a creative based media technology which were filmed on our
phones. I found vlogs quick and easy to use because, we were
able to talk and explain exactly what we are doing.
4. Planning
One example of a research media technology which I
used during my planning stages was ‘Photobucket’ . I
found Photobucket really easy to use and the overall
theme and presentation of the images, really helped me
showcase my work. Also, in Photobucket I was able to
write underneath the pictures which saved me time of
using other unnecessary technologies or screenshots.
I also used Powtoon as part of my creative based
technology. Although Powtoon presentations took really
long to produce, we were able to showcase our teacher
feedback clearly and in a fun and animated way.
And my third example of research technology is
MINDMEISTER! It is once again written based media
technology. I used it to showcase my research on the
original artist’s website along with some screenshots.
Mind Meister was easy to use because it is a simple
technology and the embedding and posting process was
quick.
