Pranav and Rajamma Rajamma entered the 214 family, weeks after Pranav was born Pranav till today, shares a special bond with “Raju” As a child, his daily entry to the 214 house was always announced by “Rajuuu – Bournie” (Bournvita !) Today, this has been replaced by: “Raaj – oru large (cup of tea)!!”
8. His obsession If there was one thing that Pranav could not live without, it was his white and silky “Shawl” As the story goes “And everywhere that Pranav went, his shawl was sure to go” Gifted to him as a baby, he could not go to sleep without clutching it and rubbing it over his mouth. 19. Old habits die hard When Pranav joined IIT, the family’s greatest concern was how to wean him away from his “Shawl” The shawl had been used and abused and had come to tatters ! But Pranav had no intentions of letting it go. It had become his life companion, throughout his childhood, teenhood and almost his adulthood ! Finally on joining IIT, out of some amount of embarassment, Pranav was forced to forsake the shawl - much to the delight and relief of his family
