According to a recent survey by iiMedia, in 2012 the user scale of China mobile commerce already reached
149 million people, increased 62% compared with 2011. And by 2015, the user base is forecasted to be 352
million.
Mobile Taobao currently occupies 62.7% of the mobile commerce market share, followed by Mobile
360buy(JD.com) 16.7%. New mobile shopping platforms are also emerging, which target at low income migrant
workers or residents located in 3rd/4th tier cities. Two biggest players right now are mmb.cn and igou.cn.
