The Cobb County Schools are planning quarterly SCERTS Team Training to help teams create program continuity, work together effectively, make collaborative decisions, and properly implement the SCERTS model. A needs assessment survey was given to teachers, SLPs, and OTs to identify how their SCERTS Teams have functioned this year, what has worked well and what problems have occurred, and to determine the priority topics for upcoming trainings. The survey also asked about using a Web 2.0 tool like a wiki or blog to improve collaborative relationships among team members.
