vous avez un lien particulier au cinéma,
quel est-il ?
Cannes et le cinéma font partie de mes gènes, et de ceux de la
marque Dessange. Mon grand-père travaillait dans l’industrie du
cinéma, il est à l’origine des réflexions qui ont amené à la créa-
tion du Festival. Quant à ma mère, elle était l’attachée de presse
de Brigitte Bardot. En 1958 déjà, les images Dessange mêlaient
coiffure et cinéma avec ces merveilleuses photos de chignons aux
mèches entrelacées de pellicules.
Avez-vous des anecdotes
sur la Croisette ?
Oh, il y en a tant ! La création du blond BB bien sûr, mais aussi
ce balayage mythique pour Sharon Stone. Une véritable signature.
Comment préparez-vous
les actrices avant la montée ?
Nous cherchons l’harmonie entre la coiffure, la personne et son
look. Il faut savoir que les actrices sont très attentives à leur mon-
tée des marches ; la Terre entière s’apprête à les regarder !

You have a special connection
to the cinema, what is it?
Cannes and the cinema are in my genes and in those of the Dessange brand.
My grandfather worked in the film industry; he was at the origin of the dis-
cussions that led to the Festival’s creation. My mother was Brigitte Bardot’s
press agent. Back in 1958, Dessange pictures mixed hairstyles and cinema
in those marvelous photos of chignons with locks of hair intertwined with
strips of film.
Do you have any stories about
La Croisette?
Oh, there are so many! The creation of the blond Brigitte Bardot, of course,

but also Sharon Stone’s legendary highlights. Truly a signature style.
How do you prepare actresses
before they go to the Festival?
We look for harmony between the hairstyle, the person and the look.
You know, actresses are very attentive to their walk up the steps, since the
