roadmaps
- 2 important pillars of the European Commission
concern innovative future textile applications:
Photonic textiles (light emission) in fields such as
building and construction ("building textiles",
"home textiles", architecture, interior design
mobility and transportation (vehicles, train..).
- The integration of textiles with new energetic
building enters completely within the framework
Commission directives concerning the reduction
energy consumptions in buildings by 2020
(Directive 2012/27/UE of the European Parliament
25th october 2012) and for the construction of
2021.

• Combination of the unique properties of textile (flexibility,
costs) with the advantages of OLED's (luminous yields, low
planar and diffuse illumination over large surface, with tunable
interest), lightweight, flexibility and processes).
• Use of the available energy in buildings such as
