• Are solar and wind markets mature as the Minister suggests?
• Federal government is betting on technology to solve carbon emissions,
but can the government pick winners? (roof insulation, NBN, CSIRO wifi,
macadamia nuts) Or is it about consoling resources industry interests?
• What happens politically in a world with:
– More expensive energy needing more transport
– Transport is so prohibitive that all energy needs to be locally sourced
– Or a cheap renewable energy world where we have to make our lives
dispatchable?
• Is it the end of dispatchable energy, and the beginning of
distributed/seasonal lifestyles? Pandemic workplaces demonstrated it is
possible.
