Introduction :
born in Bedfordshire on 3 August
1803 into a farming family.
He had a number of gardening jobs until in
1823 he began working at Chiswick Gardens
which was leased by the Horticultural Society
from the Duke of Devonshire.
Impressed with his abilities, in 1826, the duke
appointed Paxton head gardener at
Chatsworth House, the Devonshire family's
large country house in Derbyshire.

Description : Richard’s family called in Joseph Paxton to design an ornate
conservatory behind the house (now used as a cafe).

Description : Described as being "not a common one" and "suitable for large plants with
a fully-sloping glazed roof and flues which opened", early photographs
show a large glazed structure of five separate ridge slopes. The roof was
demolished earlier this century, being replaced by a plastics corrugated
affair, but the main structure remains today

winner and hunters who were also of glass and steel because of the extra
cost. Later Sir Joseph Paxton interested in the project and with the
support of a member of the Committee presented a design drawn after
him in their meetings on a piece of paper Vase initial Sketch remains
today in the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Description : After the Great Exhibition was transferred the building to another
location in the southern suburbs of London near the large villas to stay
there from 1854 and even ate fire in 1936. As has been building a copy to
him in Sydney, Australia in 1879 and was named Palace Garden, but this
building also met the same fate and devoured fire also. Future proposals
and continues to offer to replace the crystal palace place yet.

Description : Is a 19th-century English country house in the village of Mentmore in
Buckinghamshire. The house was designed by Joseph Paxton and his son-
in-law, George Henry Stokes,[
in the 19th-century revival of late 16th and
early 17th-century Elizabethan and Jacobean styles called  Jacobethanfor
the banker and collector of fine art Baron Mayer de Rothschild as a
country home, display case for his collection of fine art. The mansion has
been described as one of the greatest houses of the Victorian era In
keeping with the contents intended to be displayed within, the interiors
take their inspiration principally from the Italian Renaissance,  and
Palladian architecture although the house also contains drawing rooms
and cabinets decorated in the gilded styles of late 18th-century France.
 Historically it was first known simply as 'Mentmore'. The design is
closely based on that of Robert Smythson's Wollaton Hall.[

Description : The house was built between 1852 and 1854 for Baron Mayer de
Rothschild, who required a house close to London. Paxton, who had
previously designed the Crystal Palace, was responsible for the ridge and
furrow glass roof which covered the central hall, designed to imitate the
arcaded courtyard of a Renaissance palazzo, while Stokes was co-architect
and clerk of works. The builder was the London firm George Myers,
frequently employed by members of the Rothschild family

Rothschild in the Goût Rothschild.
It is Considered by far the largest and most luxurious 19th-century
château in France.
The inspiration for the design of Ferrières was Mentmore
Towers in Buckinghamshire, England, the house Paxton built for Baron
James's cousin

Italian Renaissance
It has square towers at each corner, the house sits on a formal terrace
that gives way to 1.25 km² of gardens . The landscape is based on the
English gardens.
The showpiece central hall is 37 m long and18 m high, its roof a full glass
skylight.

Description : The sculpting of the interior columns and caryatids was by Charles Henri
Joseph Cordier and the decorative painting supervised by Eugène Lami.
In 1975, Guy de Rothschild and his wife charitably donated the château to
the chancellery of the University of Paris, and it is now open to the public
for guided tours and special events

"Around thirty thousand feet of ground space under the elliptical roof

each of the plants, and the roots of the larger ones were contained in
compartments within the soil in order to let weaker ones stand a chance
against them.

ENGLISH RENAISSANCE : Architect : Joseph Paxton Adel Mohamed Sultan, Ayman El Ahmady, Mohamed salah, Mahmoud Nofal, Hossam Salah El Din, Mahmoud Mohamed Salah, Introduction : born in Bedfordshire on 3 August 1803 into a farming family. He had a number of gardening jobs until in 1823 he began working at Chiswick Gardens which was leased by the Horticultural Society from the Duke of Devonshire. Impressed with his abilities, in 1826, the duke appointed Paxton head gardener at Chatsworth House, the Devonshire family's large country house in Derbyshire. HistoryofArchitecture4

As has been building a copy to him in Sydney, Australia in 1879 and was named Palace Garden, but this building also met the same fate and devoured fire also. The house was designed by Joseph Paxton and his son- in-law, George Henry Stokes,[ in the 19th-century revival of late 16th and early 17th-century Elizabethan and Jacobean styles called  Jacobethanfor the banker and collector of fine art Baron Mayer de Rothschild as a country home, display case for his collection of fine art. The mansion has been described as one of the greatest houses of the Victorian era In keeping with the contents intended to be displayed within, the interiors take their inspiration principally from the Italian Renaissance,  and Palladian architecture although the house also contains drawing rooms and cabinets decorated in the gilded styles of late 18th-century France.  Historically it was first known simply as 'Mentmore'. Paxton, who had previously designed the Crystal Palace, was responsible for the ridge and furrow glass roof which covered the central hall, designed to imitate the arcaded courtyard of a Renaissance palazzo, while Stokes was co-architect and clerk of works.
