This document discusses tools and instruments that can be used to measure quality in education. It outlines aspects to consider when selecting tools like validity, reliability, and efficiency. It then provides an overview of several existing tools, including teacher self-evaluations, feedback from parents and stakeholders, assessments of student learning progress, and peer observations. The goals of these tools are to evaluate teaching quality, gather input from outside perspectives, and support continuous improvement efforts through analysis of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. Selecting the right tools and using feedback appropriately are emphasized as important ways to help ensure quality in education.

8. DIFFERENT ASSESSMENTS METHODS
• Traditional testing by means of yes or no question
Also called objective testing. The scoring is based on key answers
• Traditional testing by means of open questions
Can be writing or oral test, students are supposed to formulated their answers. This type of testing is subjective evaluation.
• Performance assessment
Complex and relevant tasks are used that are linked to their learning activities.
• Portafolio assessment
A portafolio is composed of evidence. The evidence consists of products, papers, reports, videos. Portafolios are used in combination
with self-assessment.
• Self-,peer-, and co-assessment
Self evaluation is done by the same student.
Peer evaluation is done with the classmates.
Co- assessment is done by the teacher and students they set the judgment criteria.
