They developed a ‘Forklift Pre-op procedure’ resource which could be viewed on a mobile phone. - Many training organisations use a LMS…Moodle is one example and is the most commonly used one. It is used for holding content and learning activities, as well as communicating with learners. It is asynchronous.https://elearningsa.wikispaces.com/Moodle
- Many also use a webinar platform…either as well, or instead of. It is synchronous….although recordings can become a resource and be viewed asynchronously.

- YouTube videos can be an excellent way of providing engagement.(If your organisation has firewall issues with YouTube, try TeacherTube.) You can even use the bad ones!
- …but do you know about YouTube EDU? YouTube EDU provides “access to a broad set of educational videos that range from academic lectures to inspirational speeches and everything in between. Go there for quick lessons from top teachers around the world, course lectures from top-class universities or inspiring videos to spark your imagination. http://www.youtube.com/education
- On a related topic, did you know that you can customise online videos? This tool is called TubeChop…and it allows you to take only a specific section from a longer video…virtually ‘chopping it up’. This is really useful if you have found a fabulous video but only a small section of it is relevant for what you want. - With Blubbr you can actually create interactive quizzes out of existing YouTube videos. The user gets to watch a short section of the video then they are asked to answer a multiple-choice question related to the content, with instant feedback. - Want more than YouTube can offer…or maybe different kinds of videos? How about a link with 100 video sites on it! These are just a few but there are soooo many places to find really cool videos.
