Grameen Bank is a specialized Bank, works with microcredit, for the mass poor people, established in 1983. The concept mainly come through a Pilot Project, back in 1976, under the Economics Professor of CU Mr. Md. Younus. The project was initiated in Jabura Village, in Chittagong, to find out the possibility of Banking activity among the poor people.

- Good Morning everybody ! May peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon all of you. Today, I’m here to present The Case Study of Grameen Bank. This is Md. Asif Sultan Razu, signing into the presentation.
- Grameen Bank is a specialized Bank, works with microcredit, for the mass poor people, established in 1983. The concept mainly come through a Pilot Project, back in 1976, under the Economics Professor of CU Mr. Md. Younus. The project was initiated in Jabura Village, in Chittagong, to find out the possibility of Banking activity among the poor people.
- As of December, 2015, in Banglaesh, it has 8.81 million borrowers, 97 percent of whom are women. With 2,568 branches, GB provides services in 81,392 villages, covering more than 97 percent of the total villages in Bangladesh. Around more than 30 countries around the world.
- Aleya, Jhenaidah, Moheshpur, Polli Phone, 5000 tk. Sumon, 5000 tk, Maymansingh, 6,00,000 tk to 9,00,000 tk. Meena, 8,000 tk, Munshiganj, 2 Goats,
- Interest up to 37%. Many lost their residence as well as lands. They do not know how to spend the money.
