Case Study of Grameen Bank

Grameen Bank is a specialized Bank, works with microcredit, for the mass poor people, established in 1983.

The concept mainly come through a Pilot Project, back in 1976, under the Economics Professor of CU Mr. Md. Younus.

The project was initiated in Jabura Village, in Chittagong, to find out the possibility of Banking activity among the poor people.
