This document provides an introduction to Delta Module Three, which focuses on developing candidates' knowledge in a chosen area of English language teaching specialization. To complete the module, candidates must conduct a needs analysis on a specific group of learners and develop a 4,000-4,500 word extended assignment presenting a course proposal based on this analysis. The assignment will be assessed on the candidate's grasp of the topic area, the quality of the needs analysis, the course proposal, proposed assessments, and the overall presentation. Regular communication during the module will include face-to-face sessions, Skype tutorials, and feedback via email and an online wiki.
