● Internet safety has 2 categories within the definition
o Personal Security
o Information Security
● Collaborative Research
o Explore the internet looking for key pieces of information that should
be included in a definition of personal & internet security
o Post ideas to Mindomo Brainstorming Board
● Create common definition for personal & internet security

5. Examine Categories of Internet Safety
● Within personal & information security there are specific topics that we
will be addressing
o Personal
 Online Predators
 Obscene/Offensive Content
o Information
 Internet Scamming
 Automated Information Predators
● Your small group will be assigned a topic
o Find examples & prevention tools
 Include a website & movie
o Post to the mindomo “Examine Categories” board
