The document discusses conducting a SWOT analysis. It begins by asking participants to think about their personal goal and what is helping or hindering them from achieving that goal. It then provides directions for discussing factors in pairs. The document goes on to explain what a SWOT analysis is, the four components of a SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats), and provides examples of internal and external factors. It assigns participants a task to practice identifying internal and external factors.

Risk: This will reduce how much I can save
O Opportunity: Minimum wage is rising
Reward: I can save more money
O Threat: The coffee shop I work in isn’t doing well and
may reduce my hours
Risk: I will have less money coming in
36. FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
Using your SWOT, risks and rewards, try and set 3
objectives to help you achieve your goal:
EGWeakness: I spend too much on junk food
