2. Present continuous
Este tempo, como já sabes, é usado para
descrever o que está a acontecer, o agora.
Vamos rever alguns exemplos:
• She is sitting
• They are walking
• He is kneeling
3. Present continuous
Muito bem. E agora vamos brincar um pouco.
Vamos misturar tudo e dizer o que não está a
acontecer. Vamos rever alguns exemplos:

• They are not sitting.
• He is not walking.
4. Present continuous
Viste como foi fácil dizer o que não está a

is, are) e o verbo na forma –ing.:
• She is not kneeling.
• They are not sitting.
• He is not walking.
6. Present continuous
E na interrogativa? Como fazer perguntas?:
• Is he dancing?
No, he isn’t. He is falling.
• Are they dancing?
Yes, they are.
7. Present continuous
Mais exemplos? Boa!
• Is the piano going up?
No, it isn’t. It is falling down the stairs.
• Is she singing?
No, she isn’t.
She is running.

fazer perguntas mais interessantes:

She is singing a love song.
• Where is he going?
He is going to work.
9. Present continuous
Só mais dois exemplos!
• Why are they fighting?
They are having a boxing match.
