Invitational Education® is the process by which people
are cordially summoned to realize their potential in all
areas of worthwhile human endeavor.

practice… designed to create, maintain,
and enhance human environments that

potential in all areas of worthwhile human
endeavor” (Purkey & Novak, 2008, p. vii).
Essentially, invitational education®
focuses on school climate by creating a
welcoming environment for students,
parents, visitors, and all school personnel.
