THE CHALLENGE
1. The First Bank of Nigeria, Maitama, was
robbed of ₦26,000,000. Working as a team, it is
your job to discover:
 What person(s) committed the crime.
 How this person or peoples robbed the
bank.
2. Each of you will receive one or more clues
discovered by authorities during the investigation.
If you put all the facts (found in the clues) together,
you will be able to solve the mystery.
3. Figure out the alibis of the other people being
investigated (that is, where they actually were at
the time the bank was robbed).
THE RULES
1. You may not leave your seats until the
mystery is solved or the time allotted for the
activity is over.
2. All clues and ideas must be shared
verbally and not written down or shown to
anyone.
3. Any time you think you know who committed
the crime, and the group agrees, you may draw
my attention.
4. On the Additional Challenge, I will only tell
you when all your answers are correct. If parts of
your answer are incorrect, I will simply say, "Some
parts of your answer are incorrect."

4. 1. The robbery occurred after the bank closed on Thursday and before the bank
opened on Friday. Only two people have keys to the front door – Alhaji Bukar Atiku and
Pierre Obi. Alhaji Atiku would allow Margaret to borrow his key from time to time. The
front door was opened with a key, and the vault blasted open by dynamite.
2. The Tinubus collaborated to rob the bank, Miss Tinubu supplying the front door
key (borrowed from Alhaji Atiku) and Oni supplying the dynamite. Atiku had already
left for Accra when the robbery took place. Pierre Obi was in Calabar on the night of
the robbery. Danny Flowers was at the home of Hanatu's parents. The Tinubus were
lying when they tried to implicate Obi. There was no evidence that Musa Danlami was
connected with the robbery in any way.
