2. Most useful tools The tools I found most useful were creating my blog and the glogster.
3. Most Useful Tools - blog I really like the idea of keeping a classroom blog a lot. Wordpress was really easy to use and I can honestly see myself keeping up with this blog on a consistent basis. I’ll use this blog to keep parents and students updated on what is happening in our classroom. I’ll also post assignments for students to respond to. I know it will be very positive!
4. Most Useful Tools - Glogster I loved how you could make a digital collage on Glogster! The uses for this are endless! I used it to make a poster to advertise a project my class just completed. I’ll have my students use this in the beginning of the year to introduce themselves and also for projects throughout the year.
5. Successes and challenges The projects I liked the most were the blog, glogster, and wiki. They were all easy to use and very useful for my classroom. I will use them regularly. The project I didn’t see as much use for me was the RSS. It was more difficult to navigate and I don’t think I can see myself using it on a regular basis.
6. Online Learning I really enjoyed online learning through Moodle. I found this class very rewarding. It was easy to understand how to do the projects because of all the helpful tutorials and links. I felt that the layout of the projects also made a lot of sense and was easy to follow.
7. Wiki This is my wiki - http://thepoetrycorner.wikispaces.com/ I made this wiki to go along with my poetry unit. My students can use it as a resource for information on poetry, websites, videos, and details for their poetry project.
9. Blog This is my blog - http://mreppenhagen.wordpress.com/ I made this blog for parents and students to keep plugged into our classroom events. I’ll also use it as a tool for students to respond to assignments.
10. glogster This is my glogster - http://mreppenhagen.edu.glogster.com/earth/ This is a poster collage of a project my students did for Earth Day. I plan to get it blown up and display it in my classroom and at Shoprite. (We partnered with Shoprite for this project. The customers on Earth Day will receive groceries in our decorated bags.)
