3. COURSE DESCRIPTION
Educatinal Research Methodology course provides theoretical
background knowledge of Research in English Language
Teaching (ELT) which entails Writing ELT Research Plan and
ELT Research Plan Presentation
The course consists of

○ Action Research
○ Literature review, ethics, and methodology
○ Writing action research proposals, reports
○ Data analysis techniques in the action research process

Goal
The students are expected to have theoretical
background knowledge of Educational Research
Methodology
The students are expected to be able to write a
research proposal dealing with research in English
language teaching.
The students are expected be able to present their
research proposal in English Language teaching.
Significance
The course is expected to be useful for providing
theoretical and practical knowledge and experience to
students in English language teaching research.
