Quality of the product:- 
When you think about Calvin Klein, initially you think of his clothing line – specifically his 
jeans and underwear lines (not to mention the famous ad with a young Brooke Shields). But 
Calvin Klein’s penchant for perfume was equally as cutting edge as his foray into fashion. 
Calvin Klein turned the fragrance world on its head in 1989 when he introduced Eternity. The 
now legendary cologne was a pioneer scent for its time, even down to the streamlined design 
of its bottle. Eternity remains a timeless, classic scent today. 
Roja Dove tells us that Calvin Klein's successful "unisex" marketing for this inexpensive and 
synthetic laden "fresh" scent, resulted in the largest selling scent of all time – shock 
He tells us that "it used enormous quantities of synthet ic materials and had an unbridled floral 
heart based around….lily of the valley, freesia, rose, violet and jasmine….top notes of 
bergamot, lemon, mandarin and a "green tea" complex." The base is a "light chypre structure 
with oak moss, cedar wood, nutmeg, sandalwood and a gargantuan synthetic musk." 
I found it to be simply a light herbal citrus scent that was to my nose undistinguished. 
One of the most successful fragrances from Calvin Klein is CK One, the citrus unisex 
fragrance from 1994. CK One Shock is a surprise for all the fans of CK One line. It is not a 
unisex edition, but two separate oriental compositions: CK One Shock for Her and CK One 
Shock for Him. 
CK One Shock for Him is built around aromatic, spicy and deep oriental nuances. It opens 
with citrusy Clementine, fresh cucumber and energy drink accord. The heart of black pepper, 
black basil and cardamom is placed on the base of masculine tobacco, musk, patchouli and 
ambrene wood. 
Available as 50 and 100 ml EDT, shower gel, deodorant and after shave lotion. CK One 
Shock for Him was launched in 2011. CK One Shock for Him was created by Ann 
Gottlieb and IFF.

Unlike most perfumes the contents of ck is quite different 
1. The perfume comes with a screw on sprayer – this basically means the sealing top of 
the perfume bottle has to first be unscrewed then the pipe installed and secured. After 
that only then is the customer able to spray the perfume. 
2. The bottle is 2d formats appears to be made of plastic however the actual bottle is 
made of delicate ceramic like material therefore it is quite heavy and smooth to touch.

Obsession is a lovely deep, sexy and sensual scent by Calvin Klein. Launched in 1985 this 
scent epitomizes relaxed glamour and sexuality. The main theme of this assured, sexual 
perfume is amber. This dominant note is surrounded by woods, Orientals and fruits.

In the late 1990s the company opened elegant Calvin Klein Collection stores in Paris, Seoul, 
and Taipei and ultra high-end cK Calvin Klein stores in Hong Kong, Milan and Kuwait City. 
As of today, there is only one Calvin Klein Collection store operated by CKI. It is located in 
New York City. Out of the two Calvin Klein Collection stores that existed in the US, the 
Dallas location in Highland Park Village which had been open for 20 years was closed in 
mid-2005. The only international location, in Paris, was closed by PVH in March 2006. The 
New York store, which serves as the company's flagship store at 654 Madison Ave., remains 
open still today. Partners maintain Calvin Klein Collection stores in Hong Kong, Shanghai, 
Shenyang, Seoul, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Dubai and Qatar. 
 Calvin Klein (white label) 
Specialty retail Calvin Klein stores, designed by New York architecture firm 
Lynch/Eisinger/Design have been opened at Lenox Square in Atlanta, Beverly Centre in Los 
Angeles; now closed down, Cherry Creek Mall in Denver; now closed down, Natick 
Collection in Natick, MA; closing down on July 25, 2010, The Mall at Partridge Creek in 
Michigan; now closed down, Aventura Mall in Aventura, Florida, South Coast Plaza in Costa 
Mesa California. An additional eight stores also designed by Lynch/Eisinger/Design are set to 
open in 2008. There are also several Calvin Klein Outlet stores, mostly located within factory
outlet malls in the US, that sell the white label sportswear and sometimes the Calvin Klein 
white label at reduced prices but do not carry the Collection lines. It has been reported that 
Calvin Klein will close all White Label locations within the next year. 
 Calvin Klein Jeans 
The Warnaco Group maintains Calvin Klein Jeans and corresponding outlet stores in the US 
and elsewhere, carrying the denim and casual collections. International Calvin Klein Jeans 
stores exist around the globe. Among many other countries in the UK, Germany, Greece, 
Russia, Brazil, México, Croatia, Egypt, Chile, Argentina, India, the Philippines, Australia and 
New Zealand. They also offer franchisee and opened in Cali last year.[citation needed] 
 Calvin Klein Underwear 
Signature Calvin Klein Underwear boutiques can be found in Buenos Aires, Cardiff (as of 
April 2011), Mexico City, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Melbourne, Hong Kong, London, 
Manchester, Manila, New York City, Shanghai, Singapore, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, 
Toronto and Hatfield, Metropolis at Metro town in Burnaby, B.C. (Metro Vancouver). 
Department Stores 
The major department stores in the US, including Macy's, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom, as 
well as many small independent stores carry the ck, white label and/or Jeans collections. 
Some high-end department stores, such as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and 
Neiman Marcus also carry the Calvin Klein Collection. Notable retailers in the UK offering 
Calvin Klein include stores such as John Lewis, Debenhams and KJ Beckett. In Australia the 
dominant retailer is Myer. Calvin Klein products are also found online with particular internet 
focus on selling Calvin Klein underwear and fragrance.

But Calvin Klein’s penchant for perfume was equally as cutting edge as his foray into fashion. Calvin Klein turned the fragrance world on its head in 1989 when he introduced Eternity. The now legendary cologne was a pioneer scent for its time, even down to the streamlined design of its bottle. Eternity remains a timeless, classic scent today. Roja Dove tells us that Calvin Klein's successful "unisex" marketing for this inexpensive and synthetic laden "fresh" scent, resulted in the largest selling scent of all time – shock He tells us that "it used enormous quantities of synthet ic materials and had an unbridled floral heart based around….lily of the valley, freesia, rose, violet and jasmine….top notes of bergamot, lemon, mandarin and a "green tea" complex." I found it to be simply a light herbal citrus scent that was to my nose undistinguished. One of the most successful fragrances from Calvin Klein is CK One, the citrus unisex fragrance from 1994. CK One Shock is a surprise for all the fans of CK One line. It is not a unisex edition, but two separate oriental compositions: CK One Shock for Her and CK One Shock for Him. CK One Shock for Him is built around aromatic, spicy and deep oriental nuances. It opens with citrusy Clementine, fresh cucumber and energy drink accord. The heart of black pepper, black basil and cardamom is placed on the base of masculine tobacco, musk, patchouli and ambrene wood.
