Advise and guide on the process
Meet regularly with students, help them meet
deadlines and provide feedback
Understand the objectives/criteria*
Assess their finished reflection essays using the criteria*
7. Meetings
Will be initiated by students – they will send you an e-
mail to request a meeting
The focus will be on reviewing specified process journal
entries
This could include collectively assessing each process
journal entry
Progress will be monitored through a PP progress
gradebook

1. Select on the IB Level – Grade 10
2. Then click on the Projects tab
3. Where you should be able to select your student
10. Within each students workspace you should be able to see the worksheet
which provides an overview, required content checklist and the “notes
and interview” section where meetings must be recorded

The IB Learner profile provides a focus for reflection in the Personal
Project.
A 20 minute film would be a suitable final report.
Global contexts are really important and are mentioned in each of the
four criteria
By completing a final oral report there is no written requirement.
Mr. Commons has clearly identified 20 vital process journal entries
which must be completed.
