• Directing 50 strong PMC team on USD 350M, 300 Bed Hospital in Kuwait
• Changed a fragment and dysfunctional group of individuals into a team that collaborated through regular
meetings and open communication gelled to focus on the projects success.
• Worked with KOC to unblock a USD80 million dispute with the Contractor by clearing explaining the
problem and presenting the solution.
• Directed the design team that revised the design to be compliant with international best practices. I led
the team that was instrumental in resolving nearly 200 variations ranging from USD 1k to 1,000k+.
• I led significant support to our HSE and supervision team resulting in over 7,000,000 hours with no LTI.

• Controlled and managed the development budget of AED 130M
• Managed the delivery of multi-disciplined design team (Foster + Partners, WSP, RLB)

• Project: Gateway Tower, Dubai USD 550M –The project includes three mixed use towers
above a 14 storey podium and with a built up area in excess of 500,000sq.m the podium
included 4,500 car parking spaces, a monorail depot and station.
• One of the most complex and largest buildings undertaken by Atkins in the Middle East.
• Profitably managed USD 23M of design fees
• Led the design team which was in excess of 100 Atkins technical staff
• Responsible for appointing and managing over 30 specialist sub-consultants
• Led the team made it possible for piling works to commence 5 months after starting the
design
My work in Dubai has included the management of the design of a diverse range of projects ranging from the ‘Junsui’ new
restaurant at the Burj Al Arab, a hospital, office and residential towers and new rides at Wild Wadi Water Park.
My role in Atkins included the financial management (Profit & Loss) of all projects that were under my control.
