Second Life MOOC for 2017 Closing Ceremony

The fourth annual Second Life MOOC (SLMOOC17) took place from June 1-30, 2017.
The theme of the MOOC was Connecting for Learning in Virtual Worlds. There is a
plethora of communities in virtual worlds promoting education and learning through
connecting online via web technologies such as Second Life. The MOOC focused on
connecting online for collaborative learning and teaching around the world through virtual
worlds like Second Life, Minecraft, or OpenSim. The live presentations included the
speakers’ reflective process on teaching and learning in fully online and blended learning
formats.
Weekly badges, a final certificate of completion and a certificate for presenting are
available on the Moodle MOOC area for free.
