incorporate as a company.
• Despite and maybe because of all the chaos that would come with incorporation,
the founders spent the last week of August 1998 to go to the Burning Man festival.

several drafts, and was originally called "Normalcy, Never
Again". Little of this, and another "Normalcy Speech",
ended up in the final draft.
• The focus on "X" comes through the speech's delivery.
Toward the end of its delivery, noted gospel singer Mahalia
Jackson shouted to Y from the crowd, "Tell them about the
X."
• After this, Y stopped delivering his prepared speech, and
started "preaching", punctuating his points with "X.“
• Identify X and Y
X= I HAVE A DREAM

• Philology means the love for language. X comprises the creation
and use of mnemonic techniques to remember a span of digits.
X is a play on Y and the word philology.
• There are many ways to memorize Y, including the use of
Z (a portmanteau, formed by combining Y and poem), which are
poems that represent Y in a way such that the length of each word
(in letters) represents a digit.
• Here is an example of a Y:
"How I need a drink, alcoholic in nature after the heavy lectures
involving quantum mechanics."
• Give me X, Y and Z.

• It’s been said that X was named after something at CERN.
However, Tom S. tells us:
• “Having visited CERN myself, I can tell you that X is not on
the fourth floor – the CERN office numbering system
doesn’t work like that – the first digit usually refers to the
*building* number , and the second two to the office
number.
• But, strangely, there is no X; don’t ask me why. Sorry to
disappoint you all, but there is no X in CERN – it simply
doesn’t exist. The whole “X″ thing is just a myth.”
ROOM 404.
ERROR: PAGE NOT FOUND
• In an office on the fourth floor (room 404), they placed
the World Wide Web's central database: any request
for a file was routed to that office, where two or three
people would manually locate the requested files and
transfer them, over the network, to the person who
made that request.
• When the requests increased, the manual errors
started taking place and since then the error message
has been the same.
6.
• Originally named The Poet, the X was initially a figure in a large
commission, begun in 1880, for a doorway surround called The
Gates of Hell. Y based this on The Divine Comedy of Dante, and
most of the many figures in the work represented the main
characters in the epic poem.
• Some critics believe X, at the centre of the composition over the
doorway and at about 70 cm high larger than most other figures,
was originally intended to depict Dante at The Gates of Hell,
pondering his great poem. However, there are questionable aspects
to this interpretation, including that the figure is naked, Dante is
fully clothed throughout his poem, and that the figure, as used, in
no way corresponds to Dante's effete figure.
• The sculpture is nude, as Y wanted a heroic figure in the tradition of
Michelangelo, to represent intellect as well as poetry.
X= THE THINKER
Y= AUGUSTE RODIN
7.

trend-setters. While this product was not something as revolutionary since
it has been around in the market for quite some time but it carries the
trademark style of X.
• Now for this product, X did something unexpected. It broke its long lasting
tradition and this has surprised the ignorant and the enthusiast alike.
• According to the Daily Telegraph, this was because X is deliberately
targeting consumers more concerned with style than technology.
• ID X.

tilt your head. You scoot your chair back and squint.
You wonder if you need new glasses.
• It has received many criticisms, especially from

• For this particular campaign, the television ad was the first
to be shot, a 60-second sequence in lush green Goa.
• The main role was played by Jayaram, an eight-year-old
who had already starred in four other ads. The other
protagonist of this advertisement was Cheeka. There was
something about Cheeka that was very enduring and the
rapport with Jayram was magical.
• The campaign was ranked the Top Print Ad of 2003 and
among the Top 10 TV Campaigns of 2003 in India by
Business Today.

5. ID Y AND Z
• The director, X, is an alumnus of Whistling Woods - a film, television and media
arts institute located in Mumbai . After finishing the course, he assisted Sanjay
Leela Bhansali and Subhash Ghai on Saawariya and Yuvvraaj respectively.
• His first film Y, though an unconventional one, was a major hit among a
particular group of people and had a successful run of more than 100 days.
This film is supposed to be a revolutionary one in a sense that it has set a new
benchmark for this kind of films and has revamped this particular industry.
• His second film Z also has received a tremendous response from the same
group of people and the title of this film is a regionally colloquially used term
among a group of friends and also as an informal beginning to a statement.
• EXTRA point for X.
Y= KEVI RITE JAISH
Z= BEY YAAR
X= ABHISHEK JAIN
6.
• Through the decades, many cultural historians have analysed their
enduring appeal to the public imagination. E.R. Milner, a historian, writer,
and expert on them and their era, put the duo's enduring appeal to the
public, both during the Depression and continuing on through the
decades, into historical and cultural perspective.
• To those people who, as Milner says, "consider themselves outsiders, or
oppose the existing system," they represent the ultimate outsiders,
revolting against an uncaring system.
• A 2005 Bollywood movie is based on this gangster duo; however there are
no dark elements to the film and the lead characters do not die a bloody
death, unlike their American counterparts.
• Give me the bollywood movie as well as the original duo.
• IMAGE in the next slide.
• Bonny and Clyde
• Bunty and Bubbly
7. ID X
• X has successfully portrayed a similar fictional character in the film
adaptions of two very famous novels. But this particular character has
been present only in four of the seven novels published by the author.
• The first movie was in 2006.
• The second movie was in 2009.
• X is playing the same character again in the third movie adaption in 2015.
• Apart from this, this academy award winning actor's latest side project
stems from his long-time fascination with typewriters.
• Name the novels for extra point.
• Name the app for another extra point.
TOM HANKS
• IPAD APP HANX WRITER.
• ANGELS AND DEMONS
• DA VINCI CODE
• INFERNO
8.
• THE Time Magazine administration says that it is
just a co-incidence and it isn't done purposefully.
• But since this particular thing is observed in 33
Time Covers, many have believed that it cant be a
coincidence.
• Some say that it is because of some bad things
done by the people on the cover.
• What is this particular common characteristic
among the 33 covers?
THE DEVIL HORNS
• Some people have believed that since these
personalities have acted in bad faith in that
year, the TIME MAGAZINE has arranged their
photos in such a way that the LETTER M acts
like the Devil’s Horns.
A COMPLEX CONUNDRUM
- But an Easy Solution!
- WRITTEN ROUND.
“The gyaan vala part”
• Here “M, J, N,O, E” are a part of the first
collection.
• Also “H, Z, P and S ” are a part of a second
collection.
• Both collections are related to each other.
“The clues vala part”
• “M” probably received its name because “H“ was supposed to be swift on
foot and this quality is also represented by M in what it does.
• “J” is the biggest amongst all and aptly it was named after “Z”, since Z was
considered to be the most important and the ruling member of the
collection.
• “N” is blue. So it was named after “P”, considering that P has to deal with
blue a lot and P also has to deal with horses.
• “O” is something that is now not a part of this collection. Before being
removed, it was named after “S” who had to deal with darkness and was
“far away” or “detached” from his group.
• “E”, unlike other members of its collection, is not derived from the
collection 2.
What you need to identify?
• COLLECTION 1 ( 10 points)
• COLLECTION 2 (10 points)
• M, J, N, O and E. (5 INDIVIDUAL POINTS)
• H, Z, P, S (5 INDIVIDUAL POINTS)
• COLLECTION 1 = NAMES OF THE PLANETS OF THE
SOLAR SYSTEM IN THE ROMAN FORM.
• COLLECTION 2 = THE GREEK EQUIVALENT OF ROMAN
NAMES.
• M = MERCURY H= HERMES
• J = JUPITER Z = ZEUS
• N = NEPTUNE P= POSEIDON
• O = PLUTO S= HADES
• E= EARTH is the only planet not named after a GOD.
