The main assertion of this entire essay is that people will treat you differently and judge you based

I am tasked in this paper to give the main features of the Global Political Economy, its implications
and effects on the national development in the South. The South, in this case, is being defined as the
third world .
Many scholars, opinion leaders and political analysts etc. have expressed divergent and dissenting
views regarding the effects of globalization on individuals, nations and the world at large. While
globalization is a highly contested concept, it is widely viewed to involve a process of rapid
intensification of economic, political, and cultural interconnectedness among the different actors and
geographic areas in the global system.
The current global political economic situation is a good lens for thinking about the South's place

multinational corporations (MNCs) was and is acknowledged as the most obvious force building a

Reflecting on My English 101 Experience I used to consider writing as tumble words from your
mind, write, read it through, fix minor mistakes, and done. However, you rarely get successful. The
truth is many students, including myself, struggle with starting to write a word, or getting stuck in
the middle without knowing the main point of the writing. After completing English 101, I can
explain the writing process, evaluate the strengths of my essay, and identify my weaknesses.
Throughout English 101, I learned that the following the writing process was imperative. Before
taking this class, I use to always skip the pre–writing step considering that it is just an easy and
unnecessary step. Consequently, I struggled to figure how to start writing, and most importantly I
struggled to figure out the main point while writing the draft. And then I finish the first draft close to
the deadline that I do not have time to read it not to mention revising. It was after I started this class
that learned that pre–writing is vital, and requires time and attention as it holds the base of the
whole writing. My professor used different analogies such as blueprint for building and map for
navigation to explain the importance. It really speeded up my writing after I started to utilize it. I
have learned outlining before, but part of the pre–writing that I was fortunate enough to learning in

My thoughts on outlining, I think outlining is a great tool and idea to help you get started to

When the end is decided upon, there is no reason or desire to change said goal. A person under
the influence of determination is comparable to a train. The train will not change its direction, as
it cannot, and no matter what, the train will continue along the tracks until it either reaches its
destination, or is stopped by the conductor. For as an example, my plan after high school is to go
to college, and then move into the professional world. When confronted about possibly wanting to
join the military, my answer is absolutely not. Going to college right after high school has always
been my mindset, and there's no way my determination will let that change. I am the metaphorical
train, because my destination is set, and there's no chance for me to adjust my direction. I will not
stray from my goal, because it would mean wrecking myself and all those involved in my
endeavors. There will be mountains in front of me, and people I may have to run over to reach my
goal, but when one's mind is set, they will not waver, and neither will I.
Another dictionary defines determination as firmness of purpose (thefreedictionary.com). When one
is determined, they are ready for what life throws at them, because no matter how obscure the path
may be, they always have a clear view of their final destination. To be determined means to always

Introduction
Heading home from a long day's work. The traffic light turns red. Waiting for the light to turn
green, to the left a man with a sign walking up and down the curb. "Homeless and Hungry," "Will
Work for Shelter," or "Homeless Need Help" are just a few notes jotted on cardboard to get drivers
attention. Homelessness has the ability to affect a number of people on a daily basis. According to
National Health Care of the Homeless Council, n.d. (NHCHC), "there is more than one official
definition of homelessness". Needless–to–say, those who lack a fixed and adequate residence can
become homelessness. These situations can make the social problem bigger than it should be in
conjunction with structural factors, affordable house, and traumatic actions will help miss the mark.

policies. The loss of jobs, personal disabilities and lack of affordable housing has the ability

Outlining: The Writing Process
Outlining to me is the most important and helpful stage of the writing process. By conducting an
outline, I am able to organize the way I want my paper to read. Outlining also helps me see which
areas I need to add more detail to. I do not think I omitted anything. Although I did need to go back
and write out complete topic sentences. I had just listed the main points instead of writing out
complete sentences. I think I did forget to add rebuttals to my counter arguments. I left this out for
now because I plan to use the main points in my paper to address the counter arguments. I did add
more sources to my outline because I came across some things that I thought would help back up the
main points. I really feel outlining is helpful when writing
