Before we start :
1. What is an app

Definition: Apps is an abbreviation for application. An app is a piece of software.
It can run on the Internet, on your computer, or on your phone or other electronic device.
Google refers to their online services as apps, but they also sell a specific suite
0f services known as a google aps and have an application hosting service called
Google App Engine.
Also Known As: applications, software, programs
Common Misspellings: ap, aps
Examples:
You can download iPhone apps from Apple App Store and Android apps
from the Android Market.

Before we start :
1. What is an ANDROID?

Android is an operating system for mobile devices such as smart phones and
tablet computes. It is developed by the Open Handset Alliance led by Google.[
Operating Systems have developed a lot in last 15 years. Starting from black
and white phones to recent smart phones or mini computers, mobile OS has
come far away. Especially for smart phones, Mobile OS has greatly evolved from
Palm OS in 1996 to Windows pocket PC in 2000 then to Blackberry OS and Android.

One of the most widely used mobile OS these days is ANDROID.
Android is a software bunch comprising not only operating system
but also middleware and key applications. Android Inc was founded
in Palo Alto of California, U.S. by Andy Rubin, Rich miner, Nick sears
and Chris White in 2003. Later Android Inc. was acquired by Google
in 2005. After original release there have been number of updates in
the original version of Android.

Before we start :
1. What is an Android Market and its applications
Android comes with an Android market which is an online software store. It was developed
by Google. It allows Android users to select, and download applications developed by third
party developers and use them. There are around 2.0 lack+ games, application and widget
s available on the market for users.

Android applications are written in java programming language. Android is available as open
source for developers to develop applications which can be further used for selling
in android market. There are around 200000 applications developed for android with
over 3 billion+ downloads. Android relies o
n Linux version 2.6 for core system services such as security, memory management,
process management, network stack, and driver model. For software development,
Android provides Android SDK (Software development kit).

Onida iTube LED TVs supports all 3 D
formats viz. Frame packing , Frame side by
side and Frame Top and bottom formats.
Onida’s Frame packing method combines 2
frames , one for the left eye and other for
the right eye into a single packed frame
that consists of these two individual sub
frames . The key difference is that each sub
frame for each eye is still at a resolution of
1920*1080 pixels for 1080p frame packing
signal and 1280*720p frame packing 3 D
content.

The Ethernet connectivity in Onida iTube
LED TV allows you to connect your TV by
using a physical data link layer technology
which helps you gain access to the local
area network

Definition: Ethernet is a physical and data link layer technology for
local area networks (LANs)). Ethernet was invented by engineer Robert Metcalfe
. When first widely deployed in the 1980s, Ethernet supported a maximum
theoretical data rate of 10 megabits per second (Mbps). Later, so-called
"Fast Ethernet" standards increased this maximum data rate to 100 Mbps.
Today, Gigabit Ethernet technology further extends peak performance up
to 1000 Mbps.

How to get connected to Ethernet?

Step 1- Press the Power button

On doing step 1 & 2
You get the below
on screen

Step 2- Press the Source Button

Step 3- Press the down button till you get internet on source page (see pic).
Press an ok

On TV display after doing step1,2& 3

Step 4-When Ok button is pressed , you get the interface page . Go to setting

On TV display after pressing OK

Step 5 – In setting go to welcome set up and press ok on remote(see Image below)

Step 6 – When the ok is entered in step 5..you get the below image on screen.Again
Press ok.

Step 7 – When the ok is entered in step 6..you get the below image on screen . Again
Press ok.

Step 8 – When the ok is entered in step 7..you get the below image on screen . Again
Press ok a nd select English as your preferred language.

Step 9 – When the ok is entered in step 8 ..you get the below image on screen . Again
Press ok and select Ethernet Network(LAN) as your preferred network connection.
If the connection is DHCP(Dynamic Host configuration protocol you get a message
On screen that its connected . If the connection is not DHCP one has to set manually
Which is going to the next step .Press an ok and go to next step

Step 10 – When the ok is entered in step 9..you get the below image on screen. Enter
The IP address, sub net mask, DNS server & default gateway and then press Done.

Step 11 – When the ok is entered in step 10..you get the below image on screen.(A). Select
Time Zone and enter OK. You get as complete status as shown in screen B

Step 12 – The Ethernet is connected. On the interface page you get the below symbol
As shown below….You can start surfing now

Insert The Dongle in the top 2 slots(either of them).Please do not insert it in
The bottom slot and follow the steps explained after these slides

Press ok and select Wi Fias your preferred network connection.

Press ok and select Add Wi Fi as your preferred network connection.
When you do that you get the various network names. Select your network and start.

Step 12 – The Wi FI is connected. On the interface page you get the below symbol
