1. Effect of Orange Oil on Broiler
Growth Performance

2. Material and Method
 Four hundred day-old chicks (Ross-308) were randomized into
five treatments.
 Each diet (treatment) was replicated four times, with each
replicate comprising one pen of 20 birds.

3. Treatment
 A two phase feeding regime consisting of
1. Starter (1 to 21 day)
2. Grower (22 to 42 day)
 Experimental treatments included:
1. DSOP-0 – control diet without feed additive
2. DSOP-1.5 S – diet containing 1.5 % feed additive only during the
starter phase
3. DSOP-1.5 W – diet containing 1.5 % feed additive during the whole
period (starter + grower)
4. DSOP-3 S – diet containing 3 % feed additive only during the starter
phase
5. DSOP-3 W – diet containing 3 % feed additive during the whole
period (starter + grower).
