5. Financial Aid 101: Financial Clearance Policy
In accordance with university policy, each student is required to be
financially cleared by the Ottawa University Accounts Receivable
Department prior to the end of the add/drop period.
To be financially cleared when using financial aid, your aid must be
awarded and there must be sufficient funds available to cover the cost
of tuition. If the amount of financial aid awarded is less than the your
tuition balance for that term, you must pay the difference in order to be
financially cleared.
If you are not financially cleared by the Ottawa University Accounts
Receivable Department prior to the end of the add/drop period, you will
be administratively withdrawn for that term.
