flower motif with
four lotus buds
intertwined with
heart-shaped
leaves, which are
repeated on the
top of each bud.

3. Mosaic floor with
black and white
tesserae of the
3rd century A.D.,
representing a
shield of bipartite
scales in black
and white. The
shield is
surrounded by a
guilloche and a
wolf‘ s tooth
pattern. In each
corner, there are
two running bigas.

4. Large mosaic on the floor of
the triclinium of a domus of the
2nd - 3rd centuries A.D.,
representing motifs strictly
connected to the functions of
the room: hunting scenes,
frames with birds and fruits,
scenes from the worship of
Dionysos.

5. Floor mosaic

domus with
yellow
losanges,
inserted in a
meander
with a
double ' T '
scheme.

6. Mosaic floor
with
polychrome
tesserae of
the 2nd
century A.D.,
representing
griffins in
front of each
other,
touching
with their
legs a krater.
