• Math is the study of relationships between numbers and
quantities
• Science is the study of physical and natural elements of
the universe

related careers
• Its role in the 21st century is to promote globalization in
STEM-related careers

4. POSTER ACTIVITY
A lesson can be created for the students to do a task. In this case,
the task could be to properly balance a checkbook while
participating in a classroom store. The students are each allotted
the same amount of money, and they have to use that money to
pay “rent” for their desk and buy things they may need from the
classroom store. They get rewarded for good behavior or
participation. As they make purchases or receive more money, they
are required to keep a “checkbook” to write down how much
money they have used or have received. At the end of the year, as
this will be a long-term activity, the students will create a poster of
their “checkbooks.”
5. CONCLUSION
• Math and science is an important pillar that provides good
knowledge for globalization.
• Students who master these courses often have STEM-related
careers
• Increases collaboration between students and businesses
