outside the University environment, students would not be
affected within groups to be compared between those who do
well and poorly mainly by being compared by state and
private universities. The pronunciation is one of the most
important parts when it comes to learning English, and those
students will be able to dominate this skill is essential,
because it represents the way professionals will be seen as a
future teacher. Therefore, Are there improvements to factors
that determine this aspect in non-native speakers?

Deficit in the pronunciation and intonation of
the students in second cycle of the English

students cope with absolute confidence with
the foreign language.

• Social impact inside and outside the university.
• University–Academic Mesh and students seems to be
uncommitted in this aspect (pronunciation).
• A future teacher needs an excellent pronunciation in order to
make it part in a future lessons, because he or she will be a
role model.
• Students are seem to be affected in pronunciation because
in Chilean Spanish they tent to omit many sounds, and in
English are mostly very important especially final sounds,
those are the most difficult and need more work, most of the
time.

2. Students will have to use a PPT that will show mainly media
to support the presentation. Not long pieces of texts.
3. The presentation will have to be structured (intro-body-
conclusion). Students will have to give reasons about the
topic they chose, the connection with their life or the way they
think, why it is important.
4. Five minutes long (maximum)
5. After presenting, the rest of the class will give opinions or ask
questions. And give opinions or comments about the speech
and pronunciation.
6. The aim of this presentation as evaluation is to make students
show everything that has been taught and learned (content)
more over to evaluate individually the progress in confidence.
