Proposal for
Improvement
using ICTs in
the classroom
Polette Guerra – Joann Vera – Hernan Montenegro
I N T R O D U C T I O N
Investigations must demonstrate that there is a Social impact.
In that case, this report devoted to the factors that affect the
pronunciation of the English language, determines that there
would be an improvement in the community inside and
outside the University environment, students would not be
affected within groups to be compared between those who do
well and poorly mainly by being compared by state and
private universities. The pronunciation is one of the most
important parts when it comes to learning English, and those
students will be able to dominate this skill is essential,
because it represents the way professionals will be seen as a
future teacher. Therefore, Are there improvements to factors
that determine this aspect in non-native speakers?
A C T U A L S I T U A T I O N
Deficit in the pronunciation and intonation of
the students in second cycle of the English
Pedagogy career at UDLA, which prevents
students cope with absolute confidence with
the foreign language.
J U S T I F I C A T I O N
• Social impact inside and outside the university.
• University–Academic Mesh and students seems to be
uncommitted in this aspect (pronunciation).
• A future teacher needs an excellent pronunciation in order to
make it part in a future lessons, because he or she will be a
role model.
• Students are seem to be affected in pronunciation because
in Chilean Spanish they tent to omit many sounds, and in
English are mostly very important especially final sounds,
those are the most difficult and need more work, most of the
time.
O B J E C T I V E S
