Material Handling System are of two types : Vehicle Type or Non Vehicle Type Vehicle Type:  Use a transporter to carry the load along a path that may or may not be predefined.  E.g.:  Fork Trucks, Pallet Jacks, AS/ RS, AGVs, Bridge Cranes Non Vehicle Types:  They usually have a fixed path and do not require a vehicle to transport the load, may or may not consist of multiple sections.  E.g.  :  Conveyors
