2. MISE-EN-SCENE
In this scene from star wars we could see the battle that was
happening between the first order and the rebels. Throughout this
scene we are seeing the two different sites fighting until they find
the first order and capture Rey.
Lighting: at the beginning of the scene its really dark when Rey is in
the tunnel. Further on in the scenes it gets lighter as Finn and
Chewbacca go and find Rey.
Location: the location is destroyed because of the troopers causing
destruction. When Rey is running away she is a forest that is very
green.
Costume: costume is very different because white represents bad in
star wars because of the storm troopers. Finn is wearing dark colour
but he is the hero. It’s the other way round.
Props: the light saber is used to fight. This is what the characters use.
The Storm troopers use Guns to defend themselves.
3. Sound
There Is a lot of loud music playing which shows that there’s a lot of
action. When the loud music is playing its showing that something is
going to happen. This builds tension for the audience.
You can hear other sounds such as the light sabers and the guns.
You can hear the rays of the guns going off. You can also hear the
big explosions. You can also hear when the flying vehicles are flying
in the air.
4. Camera
There are a lot of camera angles in this scene. The camera moves
in different ways e.g. when fin is fighting the storm trooper the
camera follows every movement he makes with the Light Saber.
Another example is when the flying vehicle is flying in the air. The
camera is moving smoothly with the flying vehicle but its at a nice
pace
5. Editing
The editing pace changes sometimes on the scene it depends what
happens. The reason why the pace changes is because the tension
is being built. In star wars there are no transitions other than cutting
straight into the next scene.
There are of special effects to make this scene interesting. Such as
the rays going across the screen from the guns. And the way how
Darth Vader uses his powers to lift up ray.
