Aborigines in Canada: Aboriginal People in Canada are the indigenous people in North America within the boundaries of present-day Canada. They comprise the First Nations, Inuit and Métis. Aborigines takes 3.8% of total Canadian population. Inside aborigines, there are 61% First Nations (Indians), 34% Métis and 4% Inuit.
