This is a presentation on our top ten apps from the selection we compiled. We feel these apps could be very useful in the classroom. Many can help students, as well as teachers.

App is easy to use, and provides a place for
students to store relevant information and
ideas.
4. Allows teachers and students to stay
connected 24/7 to their LMS.
Teachers can assign tasks, create messages,
and keep everyone informed.
Teachers are able to grade submitted
assignments and return them on the go.
Student collaboration with peers is promoted.
5. Creates a different learning environment in
the classroom setting by allowing students to

library of themes, fonts, and music.
Students can use the story starter functions in

This could be a really good to use for
assignments for online classes. The student

professors. It is a useful tool to review notes and

This is an extremely useful app for students
who are poor note takers or unorganized.
A lot of students are poor note takers
because they are rushed, have poor
handwriting, etc. This is an extremely helpful
to keep your notes in one place and avoid
jumbled notes.
9. Math 42 is an excellent app. Students can
type in a problem and it will give them step
by step help.
This is great for tougher concepts. Different
students learn differently, and not every
student will learn by the teacher lecturing.
The teacher can use it as they’re teaching the
lesson by putting it up on the screen to help
the visual learners step by step.
10. This is an app where students can keep up with there calorie
count and their diet throughout the day.
We decided this would be a good app for a health class to use.
The students could have an assignment where they have to
keep up with their calorie intake, diet, and amount of exercise.
Then they will report it
This is a great app, not only for present assignments, but also
for the future health of the students. Starting healthy habits
now will help the students be more healthy in the future.
11. Educreation allows a student to teach
concepts from all areas of the curriculum.
Lessons can be saved and shared via multiple
platforms.
Students can create their own videos, and
educators can provide feedback on student’s
work.
