2. 1. The way the magazine speaks to the audience (mode of
address is in a visual way. These visual images ‘speak’ to the
target audience in an encouraging way saying, ‘I’ve been
through stressful times but never did I give up and that’s
why I am here today’
2. I think it is suitable for the target audience as the images
encourage young people to never give up in wherever they
are in life even though it may seem hard. I don’t think the
content is suitable for the target audience as Dee swears
during the interview. This is not only a bad thing (a sin) but
it also can set a negative example on the youth reading the
magazine.
3. The mode of address for my Hip Hop magazine will have
visual image(s), facts and opinions. I will most likely apply
more language conventions on my magazine as I work on it.
