5. Pacita, our grandma is the daughter of Rafael Santos and Teodora Ramirez.

6. She was born @ Balanac, Nueva Ecija, Philippines on January 21, 1910

7. Pacita, our Inang was a lovable woman.

8. She was always there for us to watch for our well-being.

9. She was strong, brave and intelligent.

10. She was also a very good cook.

11. She never failed to serve not only her children,

12. but also her in-laws and grand-children .

13. At a young age, she was orphaned and was left to raise her siblings.

14. She had 5 siblings, 4 girls and 1 boy.

15. She was married to our beloved Tatang on January 8, 1930

16. Their story was more than a fairy tale.

18. Life in America from 1976

25. We were there on their 60 th wedding anniversary.

31. Although they were poor they were able to send their 9 children to school.

32. Inang only reached 2 nd grade in school,

33. But you would be amazed how very good she was in Mathematics.

35. She was able to handle their finances to support their 9 children.

140. There’s already a Pacita and Bienvenido Gomez Scholarship Fund in San Jose City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.

141. This Scholarship fund is already helping poor families in San Jose, Nueva Ecija, Philippines to send their children to school.

142. In addition, The Gomez Heritage House was dedicated on February 14, 2007.
