 Tool used to assess 4 key areas of the Texas Long
Range Plan for Technology.

4.  Helps track our progress towards meeting the goals of
the Long-Range Plan for Technology, as well as
meeting the goals of the district.
 Technology instruction is mandated by NCLB
 TEKS for secondary courses ALL have technology
expectations.

6.  In 2010-11, RRHS was “advanced” in three of the four
key areas.
 Our highest score was with our infrastructure.
 We are “developing” in the area of Educator
Preparation and Development.
 Our school needs to dedicate more time towards
professional development so that our teachers are
better prepared to lead our students.

7.  25% of our technology budget will be allocated
towards professional development.
 Classrooms will be equipped to handle netbooks,
laptops, and other technological devices that can be
used for learning.
 Best practices will be shared campus-wide through a
blog dedicated to this topic.

8.  While RRHS has seen a positive trend in 3 of 4 areas
over the last three years, we will continue to promote
the proper use of technology on campus.
 More time and money will be used to train teachers on
how to integrate technology with learning in your
content area.
 Ideas will be shared across campus through the use of
a blog.
