2. Textula
The term "textula" is a blend of the English word "text" and
the Filipino word "tula!' Meaning text poem, it is a poem
written in the form of a text message. Usually consisting of
one or two stanzas, it is sent as a direct communication to
a person close to the sender. Two examples are presented
on the next page.

3. My Rubaiyat For You Maam
For me, you are a mentor filled with enthusiasm
Education is your occupation and vocation and passion
Like a torch, you are bringer of light, Ma’am
You, to your students, serve as a real inspiration
Close to your heart are music and the arts
A delight to you the showcase of our talents -
Singing, dancing, acting, and other program parts:
Thanks to you, we enjoy as every semester ends.
I do know how taxing your responsibilities are;
Love of duty and industry make you truly excel,
Labor of love to us students you selflessly offer,
Outstanding teacher you are one, I must tell,

Mary the Blessed Virgin and Saint Joseph
Earnestly awaited the birth of son
Roamed everywhere for a place to sleep
Rested in a stable for there was none;
Yonder she would bear a king, not a prince.
Christ was born in a Bethlehem manger
He was sent by God to save us from sins
Really, a gift of love from the Creator.
It's Christmas and we celebrate Christ's birth
So Iet's not forget that He's the reason
To fill the world with love, peace, hope, and
mirth,
Make merry and share throughout the
season,
A joyous, blessed Christmas is my wish
So is a prosperous year for us
