Development of joint brands:
ETB entered the world of
mobile telephony services. In
June 2013 the license
temporarily achieved union
with Colombia 4G Mobile
TIGO to operate in the
country, sold his shares in this
company for $ 240 million and
established infrastructure
sharing agreement.

Since UNE became a brand, has
gone shall replacing brands of its
subsidiaries or absorbed
companies, from early 2007,
their trade names preceded them
the word UNE and its slogan
changed to "a brand UNE"
Examples of this are the Orbitel
trade names, Emtelsa or EPM
Bogotá.

15. The logo is blue because the blue is a color that make the people think in peace
and is synonym of calm, it also represents the technological sources.

16. This logo is imposing the red over other colors because the red gives the message of
movement and change.

according to what i have seen and compared, my
opinion is that the ETB company has more experience
in the telecommunications market and it also has have
more importance in the colombian communications
market.

18.  UNE
According to the things that i have read UNE is a new
company but the support that the alliances have given
to it have made it so popular and their
telecommunications services are good thing
comparing them with other telecommunications
companies.

19. I think that although UNE is a good company and it has
the needed technology to survive in the
telecommunications market, the most representative
company is ETB and i think, it has more level than
UNE.
