Ontario is rich with social innovators and pioneers of new ways of doing things. Many of us are seeking new solutions to
problems that are becoming more complex. The complexity we face in the world now pushes us to ask new questions
about how we act, how we connect efforts, what our organizations do and how we respond. The training will explore:
• How can we thrive in complexity and shifting systems?
• How do we work effectively with relationships, difference, real diversity?
• What is the leadership needed now in working with complexity and chaos?

“We can’t impose our will on a system. We can listen to what the system
tells us, and discover how its properties and our values can work
together to bring forth something much better than could ever
be produced by our will alone.” — Donella Meadows
