Sehrish Jabeen created a double page spread for a magazine article about facilities for the physically disabled in educational institutions. She added a grey background, main headline in red text, subheading, company logo, page numbers, and images including the disability sign as the main image. Finally, she added the article text and a quote to complete the magazine spread. While initially challenging, Sehrish gained experience and completed the spread efficiently.

Double page spread print screens
At first I added a double page and put
them together, I did this so that I can get
the outline of the double page spread. I
also made the background grey because it
fitted in with the colour scheme I was
going for.
I then added the main headline which is
‘facilities for disabilities’ I did this by
creating a text box and changing the
colour of the text to red as that fits in with
the theme.
After that I added the subheading which is
‘do you educational institutions really
meet the needs of the physically
disabled?’ I also added the logo of the
company that will publish our article.

I then added the page numbers so that its
easier for people navigate around the
magazine.
The next thing I did was add the images,
the main image is of the disability sign, and
the main conversation in the article is about
physical disability which makes sense to
make the sign the main image.
Finally I added the text and the quote that
was said by Rebecca. Which finishes of
my magazine.
Overall, my magazine was quite difficult to do at the start, but as I was creating it I got the hand of it
and managed to get it done quite quickly.
