How did your production skills
developed throughout this project
?
 I think, now I have a better knowledge about a music
magazine and a better understanding of the
magazine’s codes and conventions.
 I am able to use Picasa and Adobe Photoshop to a great
extent.
 I am able to know about the importance of the color
schemes.
 If you compare the difference between my preliminary
task cover and final cover page, there is a huge
difference between them, as shown in the next slide:

 As shown in the previous slide, there is no comparison
between them. The final cover looks way too
professional as compared to the preliminary task one.
 There is a difference in the placement of the masthead.
 In preliminary task cover, the features are not placed
correctly, the main image has not taken correctly, it
should be a mid-shot. The placement of the issue date
is not correct, there is no direct mode of access, the
color scheme is way too weird and it is not attractive
for the audience.

 Whereas, in the final cover page, the placement of
every convention has done properly, the main image is
way too attractive for the audience, the features are
interesting, the color scheme has kept natural, the
direct mode of access is really natural and the
masthead is quite different from the other magazines
and it is also attractive.
 I used Microsoft Paint to edit my preliminary task
cover page and it was not even edited properly.
Whereas, I used a variety of programs to edit my
final cover page, including Picasa and Adobe
Photoshop.
 The Conventions of a magazine are now very much
cleared to me. While looking and analyzing the
other magazines, like Kerrang! and Classic Rock, I
understand what the reader wants, what the
audience wants and how to make my product
interesting.
 Well, I have learnt a lot while making this media
product and I am sure, the knowledge which I have
gained from the product is very useful for me in the
future.
