5. Orientation
Orientation is a meeting at which introductory
information or training is provided to people
embarking on something new, e.g. a course of study.
Educational Orientation is an introductory annual
event program, a set of activities or workshop, held
prior to the beginning of each academic year to
familiarizes new students with the campus and
campus life.

10. Follow Up
Follow up means to act or make further investigations
on the basis of information received.
Guidance is provided to the students on the basis of
their previous information.
A book, film, article or report is provided as a source
information in a continuous process.
11. Referral Services
Referral is an act or process of referring somebody or
something to somebody else. It is a request for the shifting
of responsibility.
In educational guidance if the problem of a student is
complicated, it should be referred to the concern or person
for effective treatment.
