This is the world’s oldest Football competition celebrating its 100th
Anniversary. It is usually held every four years but this summer marks
the 100th anniversary of the competition. First edition took place in
1916. Only 4 teams took part then including Brazil, Argentina, Chille
and Uruguay. This time total 16 teams will participate to celebrate its
100th anniversary.

This is the very first time, when a Copa America
Football tournament is taking place outside
South America.
